The Competition intercooler has the following net dimensions (610mm x 440mm x 65mm) and thus offers a 10% larger flow area and 50% more charge air volume compared to the original Audi S3 intercooler. The newly developed competition high-performance mesh ensures sufficient airflow to the adjacent components, such as the water cooler, and is also very light (S3 OEM 8kg\/ Wagner-Tuning 9.2kg). CAD-developed free-form end boxes made of cast aluminum for the best possible internal airflow. The inlet and outlet have been enlarged (\u00d8 67mm), so this kit comes with matching silicone hoses. Overall, this intercooler has far less back pressure than the standard intercooler. In addition, all our intercoolers have an anti-corrosion coating with heat conduction properties. This guarantees optimum cooling with a significant increase in performance. Installation is carried out by replacing the OEM intercooler and is easy to perform.
