GFB VTA T9454 for Ford Focus ST, Volvo, Porsche and others,
Opel & Borg Warner Turbos - for vacuum-controlled divert-air valves
BRAND NEW: GFB VTA Series - DV+ Performance with Blow Off Sound!
The new high-performance GFB VTA blow-off valve fits all Ford Focus ST LW and all Borg Warner turbos where the original vacuum-controlled (!) divert-air valve is attached with three screws.
In principle, the VTA valve has the same design as the familiar DV+ valves. It therefore has the same advantages, such as improved throttle response and boost pressure stability, but has an additional opening so that the excess charge air can be blown out into the atmosphere, creating the familiar blow-off sound.
Thanks to GFB TMS technology, no different springs are required for the respective boost pressures; the valve regulates itself.
The advantages at a glance:
> Improved throttle response
> Keeps the boost pressure better than original
> Cool blow off sound!
> No conversion of the solenoid valve or
Reprogramming of the ECU necessary
You will receive all the parts required for installation.
Manufactured in Australia according to ISO 9001
The question of questions: DV+ or VTA - StVO approval yes or no?
That depends on whether you only want performance or performance and sound? Of course, it also depends on whether you need a valve that is street legal or not? The DV+ is a classic divert-air valve with the well-known advantages of the DV+ series. The excess boost pressure is fed back into the system. This means that the DV+ valves are permitted within the scope of the StVO!
The VTA, on the other hand, discharges the excess boost pressure into the atmosphere. This results in the familiar blow-off sound when shifting gears and easing off the throttle. However, the valves are NOT permitted under the German Road Traffic Regulations and cannot be registered.
The GFB VTA is CNC-milled from aluminium and anodized in black. All components are of the highest quality. The VTA is particularly recommended for higher performance engines.
