The GFB EX50 external wastgate was developed to handle the most extreme exhaust gas temperatures with ease.
The EX50 not only supports an optimal flow rate, but is also characterized by a compact size that is unrivaled by comparable 50mm wastgates from other manufacturers.
Properties:
Equipped with a 13psi (0.91 kg/cm2) spring
Springs with 7psi (0.49 kg/cm2) and 9psi (0.63 kg/cm2) are also available and can be combined with the 13psi spring. The following charge pressures can therefore be achieved: 0.5, 0.6, 0.9, 1.1, 1.4, 1.5, 2.0 bar (7, 9, 13, 16, 20, 22 and 29psi)
The housing, valve and seat are made of high-temperature resistant steel.
The drive housing is made of 7075 aluminum, which is much stronger and harder than ordinary 6061 aluminum.
Flow tests have shown that the GFB EX50 is up to 18% superior to competing wastegates with the same valve lift.
The internal valve cover protects the valve stem from excessive heat and thus prevents sticking.

V-band clamp mounting system, with 304 stainless steel weld-on adapter (base flange is compatible with TiAl 44 flange when used with the GFB adapter).
